| This is a very interactive program, providing you with the opportunity to connect with children suffering from various oncology/hematology-related illnesses, and provide them a form of support through this time in their lives. As a member of OPALS, you can be matched with a pediatric oncology patient at Children’s Hospital to visit throughout the year. In addition, you can volunteer in the playroom in Children’s Hospital’s pediatric oncology unit to interact with various children a few times a month. The goal of our program is to provide friendship and care to these children and their families. |
