The Surgery Interest Group is for first and second year medical students who are seriously interested in surgery. The goal of SIG is to facilitate early interaction of students with surgical faculty and residents. Through lunchtime talks, shadowing, workshops, and other events the group aims to provide students with insight into the various surgical sub-specialties.
