Maria Rosasco
I'd like to nominate Maria Rosasco for Student of the Month. As Student Admissions Team coordinator, Maria did a fantastic job keeping the group on task throughout the year with regularly scheduled meetings and availability over email for any concerns. Maria's contributions were most obvious at this year's Second Look, which is the biggest Second Look weekend that Pitt Med has ever hosted. Her tireless work helped make the weekend a great success that prospective students, current students, and faculty members all enjoyed. Additionally, her brilliant idea of providing the prospective students with engraved reflex hammers has caught the eye of Dean Levine, who would like the Development Office to continue with the idea. On top of all of that, Maria recently completed the Pittsburgh Half-Marathon. For all of those reasons (and more!), I believe Maria Rosasco should be Student of the Month.
