Started in 2000, the PittMed chapter of the national Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) is one of the most active, student-run organizations at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. PittMed APAMSA strives to address issues pertinent to Asian American medical students and the health of the Asian American community by organizing various events ranging from our annual Diwali cultural celebration to educational lunchtime and evening lectures to Hepatitis B community screenings. Any and all PittMed students are welcome and encouraged to join PittMed APAMSA!
