Welcome to the Office of Financial Aid section of the Zone. We hope that our section of the Zone will answer your questions about financial aid programs and the application process. For purposes of the UPSOM need-based funds, the student is not viewed as financially independent of parents. Students will need to provide parental information on the Need Access and FAFSA. Parental information will be used to determine need-based scholarship eligibility each year of enrollment. This information will be collected each year regardless of age or change in marital status. Annual re-application is required of all aid recipients.
All students, including upperclassmen, should provide all financial aid applications and tax returns no later than April 16th.
We understand that financing your medical education can at times feel overwhelming.
